The Director of the Almaty State Nature Reserve, Abylganiev Daryn Bakytzhanuly, Deputy Director for Science Nurakhmetov Yerbolat Serikuly, and Head of the Environmental Education Department Bigazinova Zhanerke Zhanbolatkyzy conducted an informative and engaging open lecture for 3rd-year students majoring in Ecology at Narxoz University.
During the session, the importance of the “Taza Kazakhstan” initiative, highlighted in the Address of the Head of State, was thoroughly explained. The speakers emphasized the relevance of environmental protection and responsible attitudes toward nature in today’s society.
Students gained a wide range of new and valuable knowledge on developing environmental culture, sustainable use of natural resources, and environmental protection. In addition, they received comprehensive information about the activities of the Almaty State Nature Reserve, its efforts in biodiversity conservation, and its environmental education programs.
Such meetings not only help shape the professional outlook of future environmental specialists but also strengthen their love for nature and sense of responsibility for the country’s future.
