On March 19, 2026, in Almaty, at the venue of @kaznaru_official, a scientific and practical seminar dedicated to biodiversity conservation and sustainable natural resource management was held in honor of Zhanaru Day and the International Year of Volunteers.

Organizers: @ayalaulttyqpalatasy, @baytaq_almaty, with partner support from @kaznaru_official.

The seminar served as an open platform for dialogue between scientists, environmentalists, government agencies, and public organizations. Participants discussed current challenges in wildlife conservation, scientific monitoring, the role of specially protected natural areas (SPNAs), the development of sustainable nature management models, and the management of hunting grounds.

The seminar was opened with welcoming remarks by the Chairman of the Almaty City Branch of the Kazakhstan Green Party “Baitaq” @baytaq_jasyldar_partiyasy — @alma_qarash, and Professor of the Department of Forest Resources, Hunting Management and Aquaculture at KazNAIU @lessfak_kaznaru — @mukhtarbaibatshanov.
