SPECIALISTS OF “KAZAVIALESOOKHRANA” AND THE ALMATY STATE NATURE RESERVE CONDUCTED JOINT AERIAL MONITORING OF THE RESERVE TERRITORY

During the first month of autumn, a high level of fire danger continues to persist in the mountainous and steppe areas of the Almaty Region. In response, specialists from the Almaty Aviation Unit of the RSE “Kazavialesookhrana”, together with staff of the Almaty State Nature Reserve, conducted joint aerial monitoring of the reserve territory.

During the monitoring flights, the condition of forest and mountainous areas was observed from the air, with particular attention paid to locations with an increased risk of wildfires. Such joint activities play an important role in protecting natural areas from fires, ensuring the timely detection of fire outbreaks, and preventing emergency situations. In addition, aerial monitoring provides valuable information for assessing the condition of the reserve’s natural ecosystems, monitoring wildlife distribution areas, and collecting data required for scientific research.

Cooperation between the RSE “Kazavialesookhrana” and the Almaty State Nature Reserve in the fields of nature conservation, fire safety, and scientific monitoring will continue in the future.
