THE CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL BIRD DAY CONTINUES IN THE ALMATY STATE NATURE RESERVE

On April 1, 2026, сотрудники отделов environmental education, science, and protection of the Almaty State Nature Reserve held an educational ecological event at School-Gymnasium No. 8, dedicated to International Bird Day.

During the event, birdhouses and nesting boxes were installed on the school grounds, and students were introduced to fascinating information about the world of birds, their importance in nature, and ways to protect them.

The schoolchildren presented birdhouses they had made with their own hands, and also demonstrated creative performances, projects, and their caring attitude toward nature at a high level, all dedicated to the theme of birds.

Important information‼️

During the installation of the birdhouses, not a single nail was driven into the trees. All birdhouses were carefully secured using special ropes that do not harm the trees.

At the end of the event, the staff of the Almaty State Nature Reserve awarded the most active students with letters of appreciation.
