On May 18, the “Night at the Museum” event was held at the Almaty State Nature Reserve in celebration of International Museum Day.

Approximately 1,500 guests took part in the event. Visitors freely explored the Nature Museum and became acquainted with the world of animals, plants, and birds inhabiting the reserve’s territory.

During the evening, a Swap Party was also organized, where guests could freely exchange items and give them to one another.

The Almaty State Nature Reserve was officially established on May 6, 1931, by a special resolution of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Kazakh ASSR on the territory of the Small Almaty forest area.
