ENVIRONMENTAL EVENT DEDICATED TO THE “TAZA QAZAQSTAN” INITIATIVE AND BIRD PROTECTION

On April 13, 2026, the Environmental Education Department of the Almaty State Nature Reserve, together with the students of School No. 17, organized an educational environmental event as part of the “Taza Qazaqstan” initiative and a campaign highlighting the importance of birds in nature.

During the event, the students replanted into the open soil of the schoolyard the saplings that had been specially planted and carefully nurtured in 2025.

This meaningful activity not only helped increase green spaces but also made a significant contribution to fostering the students’ caring attitude toward nature.

In addition, the children showed concern for birds by hanging birdhouses made with their own hands on the trees, helping create a favorable habitat for them.
