Our speakers reminded participants that mountains are a potentially hazardous environment where specific safety rules must always be followed. The event also featured engaging hands-on workshops conducted by specialists from the Center for Disaster Medicine and the Almaty Rescue Service. Participants learned how to apply splints, provide first aid for bleeding injuries, and safely carry an injured person.
Representatives of the Almaty Department of Emergency Situations, the Almaty State Nature Reserve, the Mountaineering Federation, the Sports Tourism Federation, and Outdoor Center Almaty also took part in the event.
