The Environmental Education Department of the Almaty State Nature Reserve organized an educational tour of the reserve for children with special educational needs from the “Ken Zhurek” Public Foundation.
During the tour, the children had the opportunity to discover the beautiful nature of the reserve and learn interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the mountain region, as well as the importance of nature conservation and environmental protection. Spending time outdoors gave the children positive emotions and an opportunity to explore and better understand the natural world around them.
As the Head of State noted, “Every achievement of a child with special needs is the result of tremendous effort.” Along this journey, it is especially important to provide consistent support not only to the child, but also to their family.
Every child has an equal right to experience the beauty of nature, gain new impressions, and explore the world around them. Therefore, supporting children with special needs, introducing them to beautiful natural places, expanding their environmental awareness, and bringing them joy and positive emotions is an important and meaningful mission.
