On May 18, the “Night at the Museum” event was held at the Almaty State Nature Reserve in celebration of International Museum Day.
Approximately 1,500 guests took part in the event. Visitors freely explored the Nature Museum and became acquainted with the world of animals, plants, and birds inhabiting the reserve’s territory.
During the evening, a Swap Party was also organized, where guests could freely exchange items and give them to one another.
Participants attended a мастер-class on making insect houses, and in the evening a film about the animal world was screened.
This special evening, which united nature and culture, gave guests unforgettable impressions!

The Almaty State Nature Reserve was officially established on May 6, 1931, by a special resolution of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Kazakh ASSR on the territory of the Small Almaty forest area. This year marks the 95th anniversary of the Almaty Reserve, one of the oldest nature conservation institutions in the country.
